Starbucks Mug: Singapore
So I’ve begun a new project where I’m going to take a photo of each of my Starbucks mugs.  This not only gives me an opportunity to fine tune some of my skills, but also gives you a small glimpse as to where I’ve traveled. First up, SINGAPORE!

Wooden Turtle from Bali
What you have here is a photo I took of a wooden turtle I bought from my trip to Bali.  I’ve always had a slight obsession with turtles, and thought I would buy one of these pieces from the local market.

The Clinic
I never really had the opportunity to highlight all my photos from Singapore (as there are entirely way too many) but I’m going to try feature some of them over the next few weeks. The photo above is from a bar called “The Clinic.”  Located in Clark Quay, this could probably be one of the most offensive bars I’ve ever seen.  As you can tell, they even serve you drinks...

Camera Settings and How to Use Them →
When I first made the jump from a point and shoot style camera to a DSLR I quickly notice how my pictures didn’t look like what I saw, the skies where washed out, my shaded areas where too dark and only the main subject was in focus. With the point and shoot I always had it set to Auto or “P” mode and just thought you get what you get. With the DSLR I was determined to learn how to use the dreaded...

Sometimes all you need is a camera phone →
I really like this photo of a lake in Finland.  My friend Mikko took it with only his camera phone.  Something about it just really appeals to me.

23 Inspirational Images of a Rainy Day →
Don’t let the rain spoil your day – instead USE the rain – make it a feature of the images that you take. Rainy days can be moody, they present you with wonderful features like reflections, people dashing about with umbrellas, kids playing in puddles, water drops almost every surface and much more.

Bali!
Next up on my amazing journey was Bali.  I figured that if I was going all the way to Singapore, I might as well take in as much as I can.  Despite only being there for just the weekend, I certainly was able to take in quite a lot.  Now, I have a few photos to share, but before I get to those, the main photo I have featured here is something I like to call “Absolut Petrol.”...

Singapore!
Talk about a place that you should put on your travel list!  I had the opportunity to visit Singapore a few weeks ago, and let me tell you, that place is amazing.  I squeezed in so much within two weeks, it felt like I was there for more than a month.  Kind of funny because usually when you pack in a lot of activities, the trip seems to go by quicker then you wanted it too, but this one, not so...
