With Wimbledon going on, I thought it might be appropriate to post some photos from my trip to London this past Christmas.  Having lived in London for 8 years, I never once visited, but of course years after I moved, I decided that it might be fun to go and take a tour of the Wimbledon grounds.  The great thing is that now when I watch the matches on TV, I have a pretty good idea where they are and what it’s actually like to be there.
Anyways, check out some of these shots I took.

Weekend Photo Excursion

Hey! So while I’m busy posting to my other blog, I figured it would be a good idea to post on here as well. It was a nice fall day over the weekend and decided to go out on a bit of a photo excursion, and hoping to find some sort of inspiration to take some photos. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really find too many things, but I did come across a tennis ball, a feisty squirrel, and a patch of flowers. Just letting you know now, squirrels are impossible to take a good photo of! Those things are incredibly fast haha. Anyways, let’s take a walk through some of the photos I took! Remember to comment, always looking for friendly advice to make my photos better!
So…as I was walking around my neighborhood, I wasn’t having much luck finding something interesting to take a photo of until I came across this dirty tennis ball, as you can see from the above photo.  I tried to capture the photo from the balls perspective, and I feel like it came out pretty well.
Next up I saw a whole family of squirrels. I tried my best to tip toe around but these little creatures are not only quick but react to any movement. With that said, after a few failed attempts, I finally got a few good shots.

Eventually those squirrels ran away, and that was the end of that. On my way home though, I walked past this patch of flowers. I enjoy taking photos of flowers, simply because of the bright colors and the different textures they provide.

Hopefully this weekend I can take some more shots, but until then, I hope you enjoyed my weekend photo excursion, and remember to leave your comments! Oh yeah…the url of this blog will soon be changing to www.mycameraandeye.com … stay tuned!
